Dr. Mitch Dougherty, CCSP
Dr. Mitch Dougherty graduated from Parker University in 2012. He is a skilled Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (CCSP) and holds advanced training in Graston Technique, Dry Needling, Acupuncture and Neurokinetic Therapy.
Dr. Dougherty, who is originally from West Bend, Wisconsin, was led to a chiropractor the first time after a high school football injury. After just two visits, he knew that he too wanted to naturally change the lives of others and become a sports chiropractor. He received his undergraduate degree in biomedical science from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, where he also continued his athletic career and was named an All-Conference football player.
While attending Parker University, Dr. Dougherty was selected to participate in a selective, community-based internship (CBI) program. During this eight-month CBI, he was exposed to treating athletes in and outside of the clinical setting. He also kept his passion for football alive by providing care along the sidelines for Trinity Christian High School during varsity football games. Dr. Dougherty lectures regularly on injury prevention and fitness to large organizations including the Dallas Police Department and is passionate about educating the community in which he lives.
